About WSTB

What does WSTB mean to me?
Our time bank has brought me to a place I feared I'd never be. I've found community, acceptance, and "success". I've found my Voice.  —AES

We are a new time bank, launched in early 2012, that grew out of a need that was perceived by the Resilience Circles on Bainbridge Island and in Suquamish. While the first phase of implementation was in the Suquamish and Bainbridge Island communities, West Sound Time Bank will serve the greater West Sound area. Currently, we are starting outreach to Poulsbo.

A core group of around 10 volunteers started working on setting up the time bank in September of 2011. They chose the name, West Sound Time Bank in November, chose the on-line time banking software in January 2012, and WSTB launched on February 6. Since then we have gained over 100 Members. Here are the many services our members are currently offering: WSTB Services.

Join us! Become a member. We are building our member support teams and reaching out to new members. We would love to have your help with continuing to build West Sound Time Bank.

Come meet us in person. The best way to find out about who we are and what we do is to join us for a potluck, an Introduction to Time Banking class or come to one of our Core Group meetings. See our Calendar page for dates and times.
